Best Fireworks this 4th of July!

Picnics, apple pie and barbecues.  Its the 4tth of July – Go America! Nothing caps off a great Independence Day like the oohs and ahhs of fantastic fireworks.

Especially for our SlingShot Friends, we compiled a list of our favorite firework displays.

Just a reminder the SlingShot offices in San Jose and Salinas will be closed in observance of the 4th, but we’ll be ready to give you your next big shot on Friday, July 5th!

Santa Clara’s Central Park (Santa Clara, CA) Fireworks at 9:30pm. Live entertainment and food! Thursday, July 4, 2013 from 5 p.m – 10 p.m. Santa Clara’s Central Park, 909 Kiely Boulevard, Santa Clara, CA 95051. (408) 615-3140.

San Jose Municipal Stadium (San Jose, CA) San Jose Giants Fireworks Extravaganzas – Get tickets for Thursday, July 4, 2013 or Friday July 5, 2013. Postgame Fireworks Extravaganzas on both nights. 588 East Alma Avenue, San Jose, CA. (408) 297-1435 ext. 15.

Milpitas Sports Center Complex (Milpitas, CA) Red, White & Boom Concert and Fireworks Show – Water fun at the Milpitas Sports Center pools, an evening of music, and fireworks. Pool party 1pm – 4pm , concert gates open at 6pm and fireworks begin at approximately 9:30pm. Bring a picnic dinner and enjoy the celebration! Thursday, July 4, 2013. 1325 E. 4th of July Parade and Fireworks (Scotts Valley, CA) Fireworks event will be held at Skypark Park. The fireworks event will open at 5:00 pm. All proceeds benefit the Scotts Valley Parks & Recreation Advocates, a 501c(3) non-profit organization.

The Freedom Fest (Morgan Hill, CA) The Freedom Fest events this year will culminate in the largest fireworks show ever produced in Morgan Hill.  The fields will open to the public at 4 pm. on July 4.
