Research Associate II, DMPK

Location: San Francisco, CA

• Design, execute and interpret in vitro DMPK experiments for research and/or development projects under general supervision
• Maintains professional expertise through familiarity with scientific literature
• Perform routine in vitro DMPK experiments including but not limited to hepatocyte stability, microsomal stability, CYP inhibition and/or CYP reaction phenotyping assays according to defined protocols under general guidance
• Produces reproducible results to a high technical standard
• Maintains accurate and well-organized laboratory records and notebooks
• Make detailed observations and analyze, interpret, compile, summarize data and present conclusions
• Assists with technical reports, summaries and/or protocols when necessary
• Assists with the development of methods and procedures on new assignments when necessary
• Maintains familiarity with current scientific literature
• Minimum of a BA Degree in a scientific discipline in required
• 2 years of work experience in a research and/or development environment is required
• Must have hands-on experience with various in vitro DMPK assays (hepatocyte stability, microsomal stability, CYP inhibition, CYP reaction phenotyping, and/or etc.)
• Must possess good oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills are required
• Good computer skills are required
• Must be willing to work as part of a team and demonstrate good interpersonal skills
• Must demonstrate good decision-making skills
• Must be able to provide technical assistance to others in a wide range of laboratory-based activities
