Program Manager

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Overview of position:
Project Manager Cross-functional teams from Mfg. Engineering, Production Purchasing, Supplier Engineering, NPI Supplier Engineering, Regulatory, Quality and Suppliers to facilitate the development, introduction and management of various projects, including Supplier Corrective Actions Requests (SCAR), Supplier Change Requests (SCR), Supplier training and audit planning

• Facilitate cross functional project team meeting to extract information and develop detailed project plans
• Plan and schedule project goals, milestones and deliverables
• Define requirements and plan the project life cycle deployment
• Revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
• Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities
• Manages day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope
• Lead many projects simultaneously
• Ensure that the day-to-day project activities are being completed per the schedule
• Facilitate communication and cooperation between cross-functional groups and other departments
• Generate a clear understanding of problem statements and solution path
• Support Supplier Engineering with project plan development including; timeline, resources, milestones to complete projects in a timely manner
• Engage necessary resources at the company and Supplier to close on issues
• Prepare for and lead periodic project reviews, including the creation of regular metrics for SCAR, SCR and Supplier Audits to track project status
• Ensure project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately
• Communicate metrics for SCAR, SCR, Supplier Audit and Supplier ISU training tracking
• Facilitate team and supplier meetings
• Hold regular status meetings with project team
• Keeps project team well informed of changes and general news
• Effectively communicate relevant project information to superiors
• Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion

• 4 year degree
• Ability to read a blueprint/specification
• General knowledge of component manufacturing processes (including machining, plastic and metal injection molding, stamping, plating, RF welding, assembly)
• General knowledge of Design Control processes for medical devices
• General knowledge of FDA, QSR requirements and ISO13485
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to work on several fast-paced projects simultaneously
• Ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of people and departments within the company
• Able to communicate effectively and professionally with customer, suppliers and other people outside the company
• Ability to motivate, guide and inspire members of the core and extended project team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem solving skills
