Customer Service Representative

Location: Monterey, CA

Overview of position: Customer Service Representative will be responsible for supporting sales staff and customers, replying to inquiries and issue resolution.

Responsibilities:

  • Import/Export Data
  • Formatting
  • Filtering results
  • Creating worksheets utilizing basic formulas (averages)
  • Quick/accurate data entry skills
  • Has experience with various data bases
  • Familiar with PDF creator
  • Must have strong written communication skills
  • Word
  • Process registrations for tester training
  • Follow up with registrars
  • Contact testers regarding availability
  • Schedule and confirm testing times
  • Create weekly scheduling reports
  • Answer phone inquiries from customers and staff
  • Process web inquiries
  • Facilitate new client implementation by receiving client contacts, obtaining signatures, preparing files for implementation and accurate data entry into client database
  • Sales support presentations for on-site customer visits
  • Tracking of trends within the company to prevent recurrence of problems
  • Answer escalated calls from customer agents for billing or service issuess
  • Scheduled and ad hoc reporting for executive and sales teams
  • Mentoring lead, trainer and team leader for fellow customer service representatives

 

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated good customer service skills, work performance and attendance
  • Detail oriented and good organizational skills
  • Must be team oriented
  • Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word and Excel complex reporting
  • Some college or technical training
  • Working knowledge of SQL and SQL report writing using queries a plus
  • SQL, Oracle Discoverer, Salesforce a plus
  • Creative problem solving and management skills
  • Effective time and process management tools
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain rapport with colleagues and clients
  • Ability to work flexible hours
