Program Manager

Location: San Bruno, CA


Looking for a Customer-Service focused person to join our client’s Talent Acquisition team supporting operations and management for our Global Contingent Workforce program.  The resource will report to the HR Contingent Workforce Program Owner.

Job Description:

  • Provide support, guidance and escalation assistance to the client’s Managed Service Provider (MSP) for day-to-day needs of our managers and suppliers are adhering to contracts terms & conditions (T & Cs)
  • Will also be responsible for supporting projects and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Assist as needed with the daily operations, management and continuous improvement involving the client’s Contingent Workforce & MSP Program
  • Respond to plant inquiries, work with our MSP provider to troubleshoot issues/errors, support audits, analyze program data and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Collect and analyze program metrics
  • Work with all relevant program stakeholders on various program activities and initiatives, including but not limited to Procurement, Legal, IT, HR and other Operations Business Partners
  • Work with the Program Manager to identify problems and opportunities for improvement (quality, fulfillment, system issues, time-to-fill rates, customer satisfaction, etc.) and help to define, develop and assess project plans for the respective initiatives



  • 1-3 years of general office and administrative support experience
  • Must have demonstrated experience in working in a fast paced environment and be able to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively
  • Must have experience and proficiency in managing multiple calendars
  • As the front line person, this person should exhibit excellent customer service skills using a friendly, warm, courteous and helpful manner with all visitors
  • Possess adequate written communication skills to respond to email inquiries approximately and without grammar and spelling errors
  • Must demonstrate professionalism, maturity and tact
  • Previous experience working for a senior level manager in an administrative position preferred
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to use good judgment and discretion
    • Must be organized and detail oriented
    • Multi-tasking capabilities a must, with the ability to coordinate work with other staff efficiently through prioritization and meet established deadlines for tasks and other assignments
    • Must be enthusiastic, flexible and be able to work under pressure, discreet and diplomatic
    • Basic administrative associate-level knowledge and use of MS Office
    • Knowledge of Zimbra preferred
    • Candidate should possess a “self-starter” attitude
    • 2 year Associate Degree required
  • Valid CA driver’s license required
