Contracts Administrator

Location: Sunnyvale

Summary

Prepare and review common terms and conditions of standard agreements. Communicate directly with customers to negotiate general terms and conditions.  Draft simple documents and letters.  Perform routine administrative duties in support of specific and ongoing departmental projects.  Ensure all applicable data is loaded and maintained in company’s contract management database.  Work with Contract Negotiation staff to update, maintain and organize form templates on the shared drive.  Maintain the Contract Administrating filing system.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to analyze, interpret and negotiate contractual provisions as necessary
  • Ability to interface directly with customers
  • Maintain the Contract Administration database
  • Generate reports as required
  • Ensure proper maintain of the Contracts Administration filing system
  • Draft simple agreements and letters
  • Assists with maintenance of template forms

Requirements

  • BA degree in business or related discipline/paralegal certificate a plus
  • 2-5 years of business related work experience
  • Detail oriented, organized and able to function in a fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of general contracting terms and language
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
