Director of Marketing

Location: Monterey, CA
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute the marketing strategy.
• Create best-in-class sales enablement tools and materials for use by sales and solution teams.
• Build and Mentor high-performing marketing team that scales to match rapid growth.
• Develop the processes, strategies, and quality standards needed to execute and scale the production of world-class case studies, white papers, client stories, and videos.
• Provide thought leadership, strategic insight, and clear communication (written and verbal) to peers and stakeholders on strategy.
• Establish marketing commitment and track ROI.
• Develop product positioning and messaging which differentiate our solutions in the market demonstrating superior value.
• Build brand awareness and ensure all communications align with the brand.
• Work with content writers, and internal collaborators to deliver effective marketing campaigns, landing pages, and other tangible deliverables.
• Develop market messaging standards across each of  target audiences
• Direct and innovate the organization’s social media and digital media presence
• Build brand awareness and ensure all communications align with the brand.
• Organizing and developing specific customer-relations programs; determining company presence at conventions, trade associations, and seminars.



Qualifications & Skills:
• 10-15+ years of experience in Marketing leadership in dynamic organizations.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Combination of traditional and non-traditional marketing experience.
• Outstanding communication skills, particularly the ability to convert complex ideas and quantitative data into simple messages.
• Successful track record developing sales enablement tools using internal process/strengths.
• Ability to solicit and synthesize customer and market feedback for actionable recommendations on positioning, messaging, and product development.
• Strong cross-functional collaborator with key stakeholders including Product Management, RFP Team, Sales and Operations.
• Creative flair to bring fresh ideas into marketing positioning and campaigns.
• Ability to create and foster a winning team culture.
• Proven ability to participate in and influence cross-functional teams.
