Facilities Coordinator

Location: Fremont, CA

Summary: Set up, maintain and repair a range of automated and manual production equipment. Maintain records on production equipment, working within the limits of standard methods and procedures. Assist department manager with day to day project. Must be able to complete “Handyman” jobs. Must be able to coordinate out sourced jobs. Proficient communication skills spoken, written with good computer skills required. Must have a team oriented attitude.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain all facility equipment
Establish a PM cycle for changing of filters
Assist in developing the Safety Program
Institute PM on all critical equipment, and ensure 90%+ up time
Coordinate all electrical work. Manage outside contractors
Direct all external contractor functions, to include periodic fire and security alarm functions and inspections
Direct facility cleanliness, and janitorial functions
Job Skills:

Electrical and electro mechanical background required
HVAC and electrical maintenance experience required
Chiller, coolers, vacuum, lighting experience
General construction skills: framing, texture, painting, tile work, etc..
Trouble shooting, solder, repair and mechanical aptitude
Preventive Maintenance and external plant maintenance
Manage Landscape, water management, and recycling programs

Engineering courses or High School Degree, or equivalent.
At least 3-5 years maintaining production equipment environment. Preferably semiconductor.
Full knowledge of clean room classification, ESD compliance requirements
Familiar with obtaining permits
Knowledge and maneuverability in CERS
Flexibility for OT
